Score exchanges
We evaluate centralized exchanges with the VIF Score, a comparable measure of how independently verifiable an exchange is.
Blockchain creates an opportunity to make customer assets more verifiable and centralized exchanges more transparent than legacy financial institutions.
Cryptography and automation alone do not guarantee transparency. Verifelse combines rigorous verification, accessible interpretation, and incentive-aware standards to make exchange evidence easier to understand and use.

We evaluate centralized exchanges with the VIF Score, a comparable measure of how independently verifiable an exchange is.
We are preparing a sourced archive of material exchange events relevant to transparency, verification, and customer access.
The VIF Score converts six dimensions of exchange verifiability into a comparable 0–100 score. Proof of Reserves is evidence, but does not by itself establish solvency, governance quality, or future liquidity.
Bars are normalized to the largest component weight (25%); numerical percentages are the methodology weights.

Transparency improves when evidence and methodology are open to scrutiny. Found incorrect data, evidence we missed, or a methodology issue? We welcome corrections, contributions, and research collaboration.
Share a Proof of Reserves update, disclosure, correction, or sourced historical record for review.
Think an evaluation is incorrect? Provide evidence and request a review.
Help improve open-source data collection, verification, and analysis tooling.
Propose improvements to transparency methodology, Proof of Reserves analysis, or related research.
Verifelse is an independent transparency project. Exchange relationships, partnerships, or commercial arrangements do not determine VIF scores or ranking positions. Verifelse is not affiliated with or endorsed by the exchanges it evaluates.
